Early Voting for the August 21 General Primary Election
Early voting for the August 21 Primary Runoff Election begins on Monday, August 13 and ends on Friday, August 17. Early voting is only taking place at the Carroll County Board of Elections Office located at 423 College Street in Carrollton; the office is open between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Because the Primary Runoff Election is an extension of the July 31 General Primary Election, voters who voted in the Primary Election must vote the same Party ballot in the Runoff. There are no Democratic candidates in the Runoff, and thus voters who voted Democrat in the Primary may not vote a Republican Ballot in the Runoff Election. Voters who cast a Republican, non-partisan ballot, or did not vote in the July 31st General Primary Election can cast a Republican Ballot in the upcoming Runoff Election. Please see this Frequently Asked Questions Sheet provided by the Carroll County Board of Elections for further clarification.
