So much of the Northeast has been devastated due to hurricane Sandy and so many have lost everything. Southwire is working to aid the relief effort and will have a large transfer truck at the Southwire Employee Resource Center located on Hwy 27 in Carrollton (across from Publix and Target) from 9 a.m. Monday to 7 p.m. Tuesday to accept donations of non-perishable items. Examples of acceptable items include: paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, toothpaste, toothbrushes, personal hygiene items, liquid or bar soap, canned goods, pop-top can items, bottled water and diapers.
